Thanks to our new RFID Kanban system, we offer customers with different demands a radio-controlled solution characterised by particularly low costs and high levels of reliability. Consequently, you can simplify your C-parts procurement significantly, considerably speed up the order process and cut costs at the same time.

Our RFID-controlled Kanban system is based on the traditional two-container Kanban. Each container is equipped with an RFID transponder featuring all important information about the corresponding item. The OTTO ROTH master Kanban box lies at the heart of the system. As the central computer it records all order processes from RFID labels to automatically forward them to our EDP system in predefined intervals by LAN, WLAN or mobile phone network.

Different variants are available to read out the data and trigger an order process:

• RFID letterbox: inserting RFID tags into the OTTO ROTH master Kanban box activates the order process.
• Shelf mat: an electronic mat is installed on Kanban shelving. An order is triggered if staff members place an empty container on said mat.
• Floor mat: a pallet slot featuring an RFID mat serves as collection container for empty Kanban boxes. An order is triggered as soon as an empty container is placed in this area.
• Collection box with slot: a collection container with integrated RFID system triggers an order once an empty Kanban box is inserted.

Additional solutions, such as RFID gates are also possible upon request.
